Adrian Warnock recently wrote a post titled “On pastoring and Christian counselling“. In it he listed a few of his old posts about Christian counseling and asked readers “What thoughts do you have on Christian Counselling? What resources or links have you found helpful?”.
(I have to admit, every time I read Adrian’s posts on counseling, one (slightly obsessive) thought I have in my head is that “counseling” is spelled with one “L”.)
Those early posts of his (and David Wayne) helped me decide to focus this blog on topics related to counseling.
By the time I found Adrian and David’s posts, they were months old; it seemed a little late to ‘join the conversation’ through comments. And, Counseling Notes was brand new and I had no readers with whom to interact. So, some of my first posts were responses to their entries.
Now that I have a few readers, and since neither blogger had these archived as a series, I thought I would list them in the order they were written that others might find them easily. The series is just too good to be hidden away.

FYI – Counsel”l”ing is spelled with two “l”‘s in Canada and I believe also in Europe
