While I believe Dr. Smalley would recognize that restoring a relationship involves each person addressing their own faults, this book is written to men about their contributions to the failed (or failing) relationship. I’ve run across some men who believe they are completely innocent of any wrong-doing in the marriage and see themselves as the aggrieved party: while I think they are most likely deluding themselves, I recognize they will find little useful in Winning Your Wife Back.
